Meet the Founder

David Worner

David was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and he never planned on leaving; however his plans changed when he and his wife lost it all in Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Since then, David has been a resident of San Diego, California, but to this day, he still misses that New Orleans cooking, and he will always be a Saints fan.

David started his career in public accounting doing audit and tax. He then moved on to working accounting management positions in both public & private equity backed technology companies. Later, he joined a national accounting and finance consulting firm and led that San Diego practice for nine years until he founded GrowthPath Partners.

David brings a unique combination of finance, fundraising, M&A, technical accounting, and operational experience to companies looking to grow. His passion lies with helping early-stage and high growth companies achieve their objectives by guiding them through raising capital (debt/equity) and mergers & acquisitions.

When not working, David spends his time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, cycling, camping, or traveling.
